Police: Man Threatens Another With Fireplace Poker, Fatally Shot



Police are searching for clues in a deadly shooting late Thursday night on Fort Worth's north side.



The shooting happened after a heated argument at a car lot on Northwest 17th at Long Ave, NBC 5 reported.



A man waving a fireplace poker threatened another man, who shot him, police said.



Detectives said they believe the man shot the victim in self-defense.
